Coastal Trail Walk

Sunday took us on a lovely walk along part of Moray's Coastal Trail.

We took a lovely 12mile jolly to Lossiemouth, walking along the beach for a lot of the way, passing the old coastguard station and the lighthouse with its quirky lookout tower perched close by on the rocks.

It was beautiful to sit on a peaceful beach (handy to have large stones as a seating area too!) to have lunch looking out across the water.

Walking back as darkness descended felt blissfully peaceful. It's a shame the cloud cover hid the brightness of the near full moon!

Highly recommended this section of the trail, especially peaceful at this time of year apparently. Just what's needed in these crazy times.
